Minority Populations
Throughout Spains history they have had to deal with minorities. Although Judaism was present in Spain (from 300-1493) Judaism did not come close to christian faith in spain. In Spain Christianity had lots of power and throughout their power continued to increase. Christianity was so so popular that it lasted from Roman times of the populace and continued into the Visigothic period. Although in order to deal with the other Religions they had different colonies for different religions and language within Spain. The spanish were good at allowing diversity whitch was helpful toward unity in Spain. But, during the early time christianity and Judaism were the most common religions. But them in 711 the visigoths fell into muslim invasion and the south came under Islam rule. The presence of islam inspired from the beginning a christian insurgency from from the North refugee area and built throughout time. Although they did a good job of unifying most people they were still people that could feel unwelcome. The populations least likely to feel spanish are Catalans and Basques which are big religious populations. Non-European presences were relatively few.
